Pro: Has yet to have his first pro reception...has played in 3 games...Selected as the final pick of the Seahawks in the seventh round (224th overall). His selection marked the fourth time in five years that the Seahawks had selected a wide receiver in the draft. College: Architecture major, as a senior played in 13 games and had 39 catches for 704 yards (18.1 avg). Had five touchdown grabs with a long of 58 yards. Played in only one game as a junior, seeing action as a reserve wide receiver versus Texas A&M (10/20) and caught two passes for 17 yards. Junior College: Ranked among the top 50 junior college prospects in nation by SuperPrep magazine at Mt. San Antonio (Calif.) College. Honorable mention All-American and first team All-Mission Conference. Member of All-America 4x100 relay team that won California State JC title. Taco Wallace (born April 18, 1981 in Canoga Park, California) is an American football wide receiver that is currently with the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League. CollegeWallace began his collegiate career at Mount San Antonio College in California where he started for two seasons. He then transferred to Kansas State for his two final years. As a senior in 2002, Taco led the team with 39 receptions for 704 yards and five touchdowns. Pro CareerWallace was drafted in the 7th round by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2003 NFL Draft. He moved in and out of the Seahawks lineup, being at best a 5th string Wide Receiver, until he was released. On January 26, 2007, he signed a contract with the Eskimos.
